While in his church mourning his wife, priest Daniel is greeted by a strange woman. Daniel entertains conversation, and the Woman insinuates that she is God and the reason behind Rebecca’s death. Daniel uses his knowledge of the Bible to help find meaning in it all, but the Woman claims that Rebecca’s death was meaningless. Daniel and the Woman argue, with Daniel furious at the fact that this woman has shattered his faith. The Woman claims that Daniel reminds her of Job.
