The documentary travels to interview the Yunnan– Myanmar border “Lost Army” and their descendants, using oral history to meticulously document how, after the Chinese Civil War, a group of Nationalist government troops who had been stranded along the Yunnan–Myanmar frontier fought desperately for survival.
