A deckhand, Rolf Just Nilsen, is mistaken for pop singer Dickie Dons, also played by Rolf Just Nilsen, aboard the car ferry from Kiel to Oslo. The deckhand quickly settles into his new role and enjoys drinking champagne with the captain.
