Charlotte, a writer, has secluded herself to a Mediterranean island in order to work on her new novel. She is looking for inspiration from her surroundings, like her neighbor Robert whose relationship is showing first signs of wear. Yet, the ideal model for the protagonist of her novel, an astronaut’s wife, seems to be her landlady Renate.
