Rico Moreno is trying to break the world record for continuous television in order to finance an illegal private broadcasting project on the high seas. His friend Banana helps him to endure 240 hours non-stop in front of the screen. He provides him with sandwiches, coffee, whisky, cigarettes, ice packs and movies that promise a little variety. But at the end of his record attempt, Rico only reacts to the 625 lines on the TV screen. His perception of the world around him has been extinguished, he is unresponsive and no longer communicates anything. The record succeeds, but where is Rico?
