The film tells the story of the comical events that happen to Şemsi. Şemsi is an ordinary dentist who goes to work every day and is faithful to his wife. His friend İlhan, on the other hand, is a lazy man who spends every night with a different woman. One night, unable to resist İlhan's insistence any longer, Şemsi goes to a nightclub to have a few drinks. There, he meets Şükran. Losing control, Şemsi finds himself asleep in his room the next morning. What's more, Şükran is there with him. While trying to get Şükran out of the house without his wife Nurten seeing her, his uncle Selami arrives from America. A week later, Uncle Selami, who is eagerly awaited, will leave his entire inheritance to Şemsi and his wife if he likes them. When Uncle Selami sees Şükran with Şemsi, he mistakes her for his daughter-in-law.
