Gil (Gillian Chung) is a girl who tries to take her own life after being dumped by her boyfriend for another girl, Brenda (Chrissie Chow). Gil gets rescued by a water deity, and believes she has received special powers. Even though she doesn't even know how to swim she enters the Fantastic Water Babes swimming competition, in an vengeful effort to compete against her romantic rival and her friends, and to get back her boyfriend.
